have you ever looked into dragon patter reversals? May provide some clarity. Also Trader Vic's 2t and 2b. The ears and tails are apart of larger movements as you alreardy know. the dragon is king. Cat ears usually means there is a dragon head/hump/or tail pattern playing on larger time frames

@sharvisdawkins, sorry don't know antything about traders-stuff.
The dragon pattern is indeed a pattern (with head and tail etc)
If you mirror the bitcoin graph at 6 feb you will get one almost.
But: this is a fractal (with the names I gave to some typical forms such as cats-ears and tail) A fractal is off course a pattern too, but on its own and repeating agian and again and again.
I will do some research on your dragon and tradersVic's.
