I think its the crypto typical pattern from alts seen on BTC, some 80% retrace is common. I think we have a january - february in BTC some weak period, now after this huge bullrun some timeout. Everything above ~4k would be healthy. Below would cause some bearish trend for a year or longer. If you would have bought at 4k, wouldnt you be selling now? So others sell cause they are green so much.
