Did you know, that every time you look up i the sky, you are looking into the past? Literally! ... When you stare at the Sun, Our Sun, you are NOT seeing the Sun how it looks like right now, and you are not seeing what is happening on the Sun right now - In fact, the Sun might not even exist at this very moment, when you are reading this post. Wait... WHAT?
Let me explain; The earth is 149,600,000 kilometers (or 92,900,000 miles) from the Sun. It takes light about 8 minutes from the Sun to reach the Earth. Therefore, when you are looking at the Sun, you are literally seeing how the Sun was 8 minutes ago...
So you are probably now thinking, why is D4krEnergY telling me stuff like this. This is TA. But here is the correlation and the lesson for today. D4 wants you take this with you. This is an advice you should use every single day in your own life and as a trader! It is pretty simple, but people tend to forget:
If you want to try to predict an outcome for the future, you first have to take a deep look into the past!
Pretty simple, huh? But wait.. The next question we have to ask our self is, am I a good forecaster? Am I good looking into the past and the future? In fact science has an answer to that:
As you might expect a study shows, that the best forecasters tended to score better on measures of intelligence than other participants. But they all shared one other trait too: open-mindedness. In everyday life, open-mindedness may be mistaken for having liberal political views, but in psychology it is thought to reflect how well you deal with uncertainty. Crucially, open-minded people tend to be able to see problems from all sides, which seems to help forecasters overcome their preconceptions in the light of new evidence.
So are you NOT open-minded and still wants to be a good trader: You need to change your mind fast!
