This is an honest post. Not trying to be offensive. What do you guys think? BTC $1 mil by 2020?
I'm in awe of John McAfee, the man is outrageous, incredibly smart, charming, and seemingly downright dangerous. Imagine if he loses this bet?? Will he go through with this?
And I think his 'bet' is a really interesting barometer of BTC's future. Imagine if BTC does reach 1 million by 2020. That is unbelievable to me right now. BUT, when you look at this chart, is it really that unrealistic.
I will be doing more research as to why he believes this and updating.
For the record I'm extremely bullish on BTC and Crypto as a whole, but I would never make a bet like this. Maybe John really knows some things most of us don't:)
@cryptotes, hard to say exactly where it will be in 2020--somewhere between 50K and 150K is my thumb in the air--but all kinds of things can contribute to Bitcoin being anywhere from 20K-500K by then.
the think about it is that 1M will be worth the equivalent of about 50 bucks then.

for now BTC has past its prime...people are still in denial which is pretty normal but soon we will enter the anger and depression phase before starting the new cycle. Realistically my upper target by 2020 is 50k anything above that is just a figure to lure more buyers!
