There is thousands and maybe millions of resources out there that teaches you different kind of things in trading and how you'll make all the money out of it. However, does it really work?
I've posted this idea to tell you my experience with trend trading, I bet a lot of people have faced the same experience!
I agree with you, you have ti give yourself padding when trading breakouts, put small lots when breakout happens and confirm the breakout before going big.
