Lisk has shown powerful stength in the last cryto bear market. I see 2018 as the golden year for Lisk where it will get mass adoption and awesome partnerships.
In the past week alone:
- Lisk got listed on the biggest Japanese exchange, BitFlyer. (More Incoming Japanese Volume)
- Lisk got listed on one of the biggest Chinese exchanges, Huobi. (More Incoming Chinese Volume)
- Lisk moved to a new #WeWork to accomodate more developers. (More space for Developers)
Now here is the big news:
- Relaunch Event on the 20th of February.
- Core v1.0 to be released somewhere within the next 3 weeks. I predict that it will either be released right before the relaunch event, or during the event itself.
- SDK to be released somewhere around the 1st of April. (Might be delayed or released earlier, nobody knows yet!)
- Lisk so far have not engaged in marketing, but they will consider strong marketing after the relaunch event. Dash is one of those projects that excelled in leveraging marketing during the past year, and look how they grew from $16 last year to their ATH of $1600 (Of course Dash is also doing a great job in the project itself)
- Current team currently consists of around 34 developers and they are planning to expand to over 120 developers in the coming months.
- LISK is the #3 project in number of GitHub commits. Lisk team even work on weekends which shows how serious they are with the success of their project.
- LISK is mainly focusing on the mobile industry and development in JavaScript. No need for developers to learn a new language in order to start making great dapps.
If you would like to accumulate more Lisk, I have outlined the perfect accumulation zone within the yellow triangle. You can start taking positions between 235,000 and 200,000 satoshis.
Profit targets by the end of February:
TP1: 329,000 Satoshis (50% Profit)
TP2: 362,000 Satoshis (71% Profit)
TP3: 415,000 Satoshis (87% Profit)
TP4: 452,000 Satoshis (100% Profit)
I see TP2 and TP3 as conservative targets this month.
Will I be selling all my LISK? Definitely NOT! But I will consider selling 30%-40% of my position as we go thru TP1-TP4 and wait for a dip to buy back and accumulate more Lisk.
What if the price does go up but never dips? Then I will be happy with the 70%-60% Lisk that I will be holding and invest my profits elsewhere.
Taking profits is always good and helps you capitalize on minor market dips! :)

Now we are 4 days away from the anticipated Lisk Relaunch which is scheduled to happen on the 20th of February, 2018. Some people calling super bullish calls (NEO Scenario), some calling a big sell sell-off (Traders/Investors selling the news and cashing out profits) on the event day but here is what I really expect to happen.
I expect Lisk to reach TP2 and maybe even TP3 as we approach the event date. The real price action will be seen during the event and we have 2 scenarios here:
SCENARIO 1:
Lisk speakers could announce really big partnerships and/or release of Core v1.0 . This along could make the price pump a nice 30%-60%!
SCENARIO 2:
Only releasing the new website/logo along with a recap of their roadmap and progress. In that case, we could see the sell-off to the 160,000 - 200,000 satoshi range.
I expect to see Scenario 1, but there is always an option that scenario 2 actually happens.
So now, what should we do? Should we sell? Buy more?... Here are your 3 different options:
OPTION 1:
Sell 15-30% of your position before the event and accumulate more LISK if we happen to see scenario 2 in play.
OPTION 2:

For the past days, we are seeing higher highs and lower lows on Lisk! In other words when the price closed higher than the day before, this is a signal of greater confidence and a possible trend for further higher prices.
I believe this pattern will sustain for the next 2-3 days!
I don't think we will reach TP4 in this bull run though. TP2 is a conservative target and we might see a spike to TP3 or at the psychological resistance of 400k sats before the rebrand.
I can't predict what will happen during/after the event as that will solely depend on how well it goes (Will be mainly driven by how powerful the announcements are) as mentioned in the comment above.

Now we are only 8 hours away from the event and if we do hear great announcements, we can expect a price reversal back to the 298k-329k satoshi range.
What if the event doesn't go well? We can see another minor dip during/after the event down to 200k satoshis.

I do not have a crystal ball to know what will happen but here is what I will personally be doing.
I personally already took profit at TP1 (339k satoshi) and holding it as BTC. If you are following my analysis and did the same, good for you as now you have collateral to buy the dips.
Now I will wait for the event, and see how it will influence the price. If the price does dip to 200k satoshis, I will buy back some Lisk with my BTC hedge and wait for the SDK and/or Core V1.0 which will be very bullish events and I expect that Lisk will react well to in terms of price to take partial profit from my position. (I will still hodl a significant position of my Lisk thru 2018)
Patience is a virtue! Do not let these price dips scare you into panic selling.. At the end, it's the strong hands that prevail, and weak hands that get kicked out of this market.
Remember that Lisk is a powerful project that has extremely good potential for a 5x-10x this year. This will be a great year for Lisk and the party has not started yet :)
