TBH I don't understand why the exchange rate between USD<->BTC<-> XMR doesn't matter. Because if one'd chart XMR USD there wont be a triangle at all.
May you enlighten me?

@dklug8, If you are trading with USD then it matters, for sure. But I'm trading with BTC and so XMR <--> USD price doesn't mean much to me. So all time high is 208 USD at the moment, but it might be 250 next week. That price is basically just the representation of the fluctuations between XMR and BTC. Hope that makes sense...

@Brisben, Well, I'm still a newb, when it comes to trading, but just following my logic. This would be the same as if you look at a chart that shows Microsoft:Apple Stock, but both have their own price fixed in FIAT. Same is true for XMR and BTC, since both might be bought directly with FIAT currencies. Sorry for bothering you with my lack of knowledge.
