High & Low Of Custom Session

E-mini S&P 500 FuturesCME

描述

This script boxes a custom session and sets the box at the high and low of the session and draws that box to the next session.
Box color is determined by price in relation to the box position. Box color is set at the start of the next session. This allows
user to lookback at multiple box sets to see how each day closed in relation to the session highlighted.

I have written this for backtesting purposes and intend to expand it to use with volume analysis and gradient color to change the box color based on how many times price tests
the box.

Finally after hours of searching I found what I was looking for! Thank you very much. Is it possible to extend the zones further than 1 session, maybe for like 3-5 days ?

Love this one as well!!! Thank you goofoffgoose!

@boltzz, I want to thank you. I've been on a medical sabbatical and I'm just now trying to make it back. 🤞 But it was great to log in and see all your comments on my scripts. I appreciate it.

@goofoffgoose, I hope you are feeling better! I have been complaining over on usethinkscript.com - they can't seem to get it as completely as you! (I have given you credit every time)! Anyway, truly hope you are better!

@boltzz, I'm not familiar with them. I assume they are not writing it in Pine. Pine is quite a bit easier for charting as its is proprietary to just charting so the functions are built in. I know people who write in C# for platforms like Quantower and they have to put quite a bit more logic into the script. I don't have C# down yet, they taught C++ when I was in college. (My age is showing.) There are def some big advantages to putting in that work. Pine does have its limitations that can be quite frustrating. But I appreciate the credit!! What's ironic is that this script is one of my least maintained, quick and dirty, accidentally useful product.

This is a great little script!
