I'm having some trouble setting up an alert if a Heiken Ashi candle crosses the DHLB boundaries of this indicator. It doesn't seem to trigger at all. Sometimes I will get an alert, but only once a day at 6pm, even if I set it up on the 1 or 5 minute charts. I just want to know when this indicator prints a new daily high or low on the chart.

@mlettvin, FYI: This is a very old example I made for jucikyong. If you want a 'trigger' it has to be something other than the 'value'. Like 'Moving Up' or 'Moving Down' because the value never 'crosses', it just pushes it.

@Electrified, Thanks. You say this was a really old example... did you write something newer that serves a similar or expanded purpose? Your SuperTrend is very popular, but I haven't looked at all your stuff.
