Troubleshooting AI Copilot

Most issues with AI Copilot come down to your plan, the page you're on, or a request that's still running. Here's how to sort out the common ones.

I don't see AI Copilot

Check the following:

  • You're on a chart on http://tradingview.com or in the desktop app.
  • The AI Copilot panel is open — click the AI Copilot icon in the right-hand panel.

My request failed

An error usually means a temporary problem. Try sending your request again. If it keeps failing, note the time and the symbol you were on, and contact support so we can look into it.

It's slow or stuck

Complex, multi-step requests take longer, since AI Copilot may look up data and act on your chart before it answers. If a response seems stuck, you can stop it and rephrase your question more specifically.

"Chat is busy" or I can't send

Each chat handles one request at a time. If you see a busy state, wait for the current request to finish — or check whether you have the same chat open in another tab and sent a request from there.

A chart action didn't apply

If AI Copilot said it changed something but you don't see it, make sure the right chart is active and ask it to check the current state, for example "What indicators are on the chart now?" Then ask it to try again.

When working with watchlists, you may sometimes need to manually refresh the chart to see the changes. We're still improving this feature.

An answer looks cut off

Ask AI Copilot to continue or to summarize the rest. If answers stop early across several requests, you may have reached your monthly usage limit — the panel will show when it resets.

Still need help

If none of this fixes it, contact support with your plan, the time, and the symbol you were on. AI add-on holders can submit support tickets for billing, usage, and technical issues with AI Copilot.
