Ambu Downgrades
Monday night, Ambu has a status on how it goes with the plan - and the future does not look as bright as before.
It appears from the update that Ambu downgrades on a number of points.
For this financial year, Ambu lowers its expectations for organic growth, so that it now stands at 14-15 per cent, where before it was 15-16 per cent.
Up to 2020, Ambu sees organic growth in the next financial year of 16 to 19 per cent. against previously 18 to 23 per cent.
Adjusts operating profits
Similarly, Ambu now also expects a decline in relation to previous estimates of operating profit measured by EBIT margin. The new expectations for this financial year are now 22 per cent. against previously 22-24 per cent
In the coming year, guidance now stands at 20 per cent. versus 26 to 28 per cent before.
The free cash flow in this financial year, according to the updated three-year plan, will amount to DKK 375 million. Here Ambu had originally promised DKK 400-475 million. kr.
The slower growth should be seen in the context that Ambu has decided to phase out one-koloskopet SC210. A test in the US to document that the SC210 meets the standards of recyclable colonies has not been successful, and therefore, Ambu has decided to stop the marketing of the product.¨
