Looks to me like the market makers have AU poised for a jump on the upcoming econ news in 1/2 hour.
Price has been brought back above a support zone and is being held there.
There was even an exact 'Ping' of the double band below to confirm it is still there and strong.
Looks like a swimmer treading water who just tippy-toed on the bottom to check its depth.
I have no idea what the news will be, nor how much it could effect price.
I am just basing this guess on my observations of the price action,
But I am imagining a spike below to take out stops, then a news spike up to zones above.
Lets see how this plays out.

Main chart above is not moving yet, should go so pretty soon (I has just posted few minutes before news). But the AUD jobs report was quite good. Price moved up, but not with the gust I expected. might prove the cliche ''during a downtrend good news has little effect'
