Hi guys, just stumbled upon this harmonic pattern on trading volume last night, for a laugh's sake. In Russia there's a belief that it takes 40 days for a person's soul to pass out after death. I wondered, if Bitcoin had any relation to passing out periods, since its been "killed" so many times in mass media.
Apparently it does. Moreover, it happens every 400 days, for over 10 years, right from the start of all trading at Mt.Gox. Not a single day away, not a single time missed. One 40 day period with almost no trading volume just happens to happen every year. Next time it happens will be 27th Dec 21' 40 days candle and its always December 27 and 40 days after. Which is 3 days after Christmas day. Which means that there's no trading volume for 40 days after Christ's birth celebration. Again - his birth, not death. I'm also aware of 40 days fasting period prior to Christmas day, but not after. You might argue that this harmonics due to human's religious behavioral patterns, like holidays. But why is it exactly 40 days every year? Please share your thoughts on this.

It looks like I just found a bug on tradingview. This has nothing to do with actual trading volume, and its about Christmas candle being 4 days long, instead of 40 days. I hope this will be fixed soon.

Apparently this bug exists on any interval, if a candle starts at the end of December, it always ends at the beginning of January, no matter how many days long it was.
