As in the previous move, if the US Dollar continues to strengthen, it will continue to weaken the market.
My problem with this is that while the central banks are trying to bring inflation down with a stronger dollar, doing so when your own country is in debt can be quite dangerous.
As a reminder, the current debt level in the United States is estimated at around USD 30.5 trillion. By the end of this year it should be around 31.5 trillion. This is the highest level the US has ever had and will continue to have.
In any case, it will be interesting to see in which direction it will go. Should the USD hold a strong uptrend, we are just at the end of a trend consolidation phase. If this is the case and the USD gains more strength, we can expect prices to continue falling.
