Warm temperatures cause the air to expand and become less dense, so there is less oxygen present when your car pulls air in. Less oxygen means less fuel used. This isn't the best for power, but it helps with fuel economy. Warm temperatures also improve tire pressure, allowing your tires to remain rounder and reducing friction and resistance. It also keeps your oil thinner, which makes your engine run more efficiently.
