Yes, you are absolutely right about that; I am colorblind. I double checked it, and I know why I stated that. I switched to the daily chart and switched back to the weekly chart.
On the daily chart, there is indeed only a possibility for a golden cross in the mid-term. A death cross or golden cross on the weekly chart is of less significance than on the daily chart, so point still stands.
In addition, I looked at the 50 MA and 100 MA. A proper golden cross is a combination of the 50 day moving average and the 200 day moving average. On the daily chart, which is the one that matters when looking for golden crosses or death crosses, the 100 DMA and 200 DMA are trending down, while the 50 DMA is trending upwards. This means a proper golden cross will occur soon.
