The german stock index DAX30 has seen its ATH in january 2018 - this marked also the final point of the motive wave 5.
Then it entered a corrective wave a - b - c.
A chart pattern opened (triangle), with the upper limit descending and the lower limit horizontal - this is very often a bearish sign and it confirmend the waves from b to c.
Near the peak of this triangle the index fell to the bottom, crossed the neckline of the SHS-formation and plumped on the fib retracement 50% - which isn´t known as very strong - so we should expect a further downfall.
On this weak level we see some consolidation but as I´ve already mentioned it is to be expected that the stock will continue its downtrend. The corrective wave -c- hasn´t finished yet in my opinion and the fib retracement 50% isn´t a strong level. Also we have an older level at about 10.750 which has been a strong resistance - now support.
The RSI is oversold, a little consolidation is probable. But not for too long.
Additionally to the technical analysis the fundamental facts for the german index aren´t good as well. The italian crisis is a heavy burden to the EURO, the neverending suspicions against the german automobile industry also weigh heavily.
This is no trading advice - but I wouldn´t invest in DAX now.
