I'm always sceptical of a market that does not zig-zag and I'd have expected to see more pullback in DXY but if we're going to continue to make breakouts DXY may enter into the parabolic phase of the move. These are typically moves of not less than 10% (Can be 20 - 25%) and would imply a really strong USD uptrend to come.
This should be fairly obvious if it's happening and it may also be the latter stage of this leg of the USD bull. Into the end of a trend the move often becomes shockingly consistent. We enter into conditions where "No one can beat the market" (But now we're talking DXY and not SPX).
