51. A lesson of what it can do and what it can't do

Today, it is best to take a break from trading as Putin is scheduled to deliver a speech today. What he says can definitely affect price.

I got a question asking why price, after seeing a reaction at the 'D" did not continue to rise/fall as anticipated? As example, recently price reacted at the 'D' and rise for a while and now it seems to have fallen lower.

The answer is that ABCD is only able to give us the 'where & when'. It is NOT ABLE to tell what happens AFTER that. What happen AFTER the 'D' is UP TO THE MARKET. And so far, perhaps NO ONE IS ABLE TO 'predict' in advance where the market is going to go, whether in the short, medium or long term. If there is a method that can tell in advance where the market is heading, then I do not even need ABCD. I do not even need SL. Since I 'know' where market is heading, I will just BUY/SELL and collect my profit later.

While we do not know where exactly the market is heading, we can at least try to anticipate the market direction. And for that, you should find the answer to the preceding lesson.

While it is fair to say that no one is able to say where price/market is heading, it is true that certain clues/traces are leaked by the market all the time.
It is just whether you are able to 'see' it.
