Sometimes individual stocks can have clear Elliott wave patterns. Since October 2022 Microsoft (MSFT) rallied in a clear Elliott five – wave extended Impulse pattern. The decline from its July 2024 top was impulsive followed by a clear Single Zigzag correction.
A third wave down could now be developing. If so it could break below the August bottom and reach at least a .618 retracement of the 2022 to 2024 rally.
