We’re observing that the Equal-Weighted Nasdaq 100 (
QQQE) is currently showing its lowest Bollinger Band Width (20-day timeframe) since late 2017.
What does this mean?
It indicates that breadth within the Nasdaq 100 is tightening, suggesting a period of change in volatility. Historically, such compressions are often followed by strong directional moves—in other words, an expansion is likely on the horizon.
Adding to this setup, the Fed just eased interest rates, increasing the probability that the next move will be to the upside, much like similar scenarios we saw back in 2017.
These factors reinforce our bullish outlook on both Nasdaq and Crypto.
