If you have watched the news lately you will have noticed that GameStop stock prices has soared over the past week. Based on a sub-reddit that started the conversation about pumping stocks of companies that have a very bleak future - for the purpose of sticking it to the "man". In this case Wall Street.
This has essentially turned the stock market into crypto trading overnight. Stock prices are controlled by the people buying and trading the stocks. Now every kid with a smart phone has access to that market. The stock market will feel the effects of this.
The only hedge against that kind of influence is traditional assets i.e, Gold, Silver. (and not just CFDs.... Bullion).
