I strongly believe you should always be learning as a trader NEVER stagnant. I spent many years learning the hard way. I’d like to share some things that would have saved me a lot of heartache. No matter what you trade or how you trade YOU MUST KNOW which team is on the field. Offense or Defense? Which way is the wind blowing? Is the trend going up, down or sideways? Systemic Risk. Knowledge is Powerful but So is Position Sizing. Everyone has their own style and preferences but I often find the best stocks using the 20 Day EMA, 50 Day SMA and 200 Day SMA. Those are some of the tools I use and with my past 45 positions...13 sold for profit avg +7.5%. 5 were stopped out for avg loss of - 5.2%. Out of remaining 27 positions only two currently have unrealized losses with avg of -2.15%. Things can quickly change tho. I’ve been in the markets long enough to know that if you get overconfident you will quickly get humbled. So leave the ego at the door..and CUT YOUR LOSSES! Happy trading
