That is the ultimate question on anyone's mind who trades Tesla. We have been on an expected retrace that started on 19 July @ $299.29. I am becoming more and more convinced this is all just a part of the (A) wave, but time will tell on that. For now, IMO price needs OML to at least the 0.382 @ $230.88. That seems almost too perfect of a set-up though. Technically speaking, at this time the count can be considered complete.
Using EWT, the varying "waves" or movements in price are not random but are actually predictable before they even occur. The counts are only as good as the analyst though and can be invalidated due to outside events that cannot be foreseen by the general public. At this time there are three DIFFERENT signals that are saying price should hit my target box.
As I said though, this count could be considered complete, and price could head up from here. It would need to be impulsive to the upside though. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if price moves up a little in pre-market to finish out wave iv, but that price action will be corrective in nature. Once the cash market opens, I believe Tesla falls decently to finish out this move down.
My plan as of now; start to take a SMALL position around $235 DEPENDING on structure. Add more at $230 area if structure looks appropriate. Once move up is confirmed add one more time to finish acquisition mode. If price raises in a corrective fashion, I will interpret it as wave B and look at taking profit around $275-$285 area for a 20%+ profit. If price raises in an impulsive fashion, I will add more shares on the first available retrace as well as start scalping for extra profit.
There is MY game plan. Should you so choose to make the same trades as I, remember THEY ARE YOUR CHOICES. I THINK price will behave in this fashion but that doesn't mean it will.
