The VIX completed it's fourth straight week in October 2018
in upside breakout mode, as volatility surged,
and price movements in the S+P that took days,weeks previously
now occur in minutes, even seconds.
Bulls would have you believe we are close to a bottom.
They are fond at picking bottoms, and being rewarded
Don't buy into their advise.
It is way to early to be even remotely complacent.
as this market decline is potent, building,
and the final push down may not have even begun.
The market has broken suddenly,..and sharply down.
from all time historic highs leaving many slow to react.
Some still do not know what hit them this month !
Professional traders, not the so called analysts,..
but actual traders, who risk their capital every day in the market
DO NOT TRY TO PICK OR PREDICT BOTTOMS.
They follow the trend wherever it takes them. And right now that trend is sharply down.
if volatility breaks out to the upside next week above 30 it could surge to parabolic crash levels.
last seen in the Feb,2018 lows at S+P2532..equated to VIX readings at 50, for the majorit "sheer panic".
