- Google plans to invest $6 billion on building a 1-gigawatt data center in southern India, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing government sources.
- The investment includes $2 billion in renewable-energy capacity to power the facility, which is due to be built in the port city of Visakhapatnam, Bloomberg said, citing the sources.
- The project would be Google's largest in capacity and investment size in Asia, Bloomberg said.
