INVITE-ONLY SCRIPT
Buddys Fib Heatmap With RVol
A structured multi-symbol monitoring table that maps live price to prior monthly Fibonacci expansion levels and evaluates proximity using configurable distance logic and daily Relative Volume (RVOL).
Level Framework
The script references the previous month’s high and low to construct a fixed Fibonacci ladder spanning −3.0 to +3.0 extensions.
For each monitored symbol, it:
• Calculates the prior monthly range
• Generates permitted Fibonacci levels (All Levels or Majors Only)
• Identifies the closest level to current price
• Computes percent deviation from that level
The table displays:
• Symbol
• Active Fibonacci level
• Current price
• Closest Fibonacci target
• RVOL (optional)
• Distance or proximity status
Proximity Logic
Distance to the closest Fibonacci level is evaluated using:
• A user-defined percentage tolerance
• An optional fixed dollar threshold (priority-based)
The output column may display either exact percent deviation or custom proximity labels (e.g., NO TRADE / ON DECK / LOCK IN). When both methods are enabled, the fixed dollar threshold takes precedence.
RVOL Calculation & Color Structure
Daily Relative Volume (RVOL) is calculated as:
Current Daily Volume ÷ Moving Average of Daily Volume
(configurable lookback)
RVOL values are categorized into configurable buckets:
• Quiet
• Normal
• Elevated
• Unusual
• Extreme
Color intensity scales progressively within each bucket using logarithmic normalization. When proximity status is inactive, RVOL highlighting is visually muted to maintain structural neutrality.
Usage Configurations
Multi-Symbol Layout
Apply the script to a blank chart and assign up to 15 symbols per instance. Multiple instances may be added to expand symbol coverage and create a modular screening layout.
Single-Symbol Monitoring
Apply the script directly to an individual chart to monitor proximity to monthly Fibonacci levels using the same distance and RVOL logic.
Buddy Structure Toolkit
This indicator is part of the Buddy Structure Toolkit — a collection of independently functioning tools centered on structural level mapping, multi-timeframe awareness, and continuity analysis.
Each tool operates independently while maintaining consistent visual and logical structure across the toolkit.
