RSI Pro+ transforms the standard RSI from a simple oscillator into a complete lower-pane decision system by stacking five layers of analysis into one indicator:
• Chebyshev Type I filtered RSI displayed as OHLC candles with optional gradient coloring — ultra-smooth calculations that eliminate false signals plaguing standard RSI. Choose Bull/Bear (green/red) or 5-zone Gradient mode for instant visual context of RSI position.
• Goldilocks Fractal signals that only fire in the "just right" zones — BUY exclusively in oversold territory, SELL exclusively in overbought territory. No meaningless mid-range noise.
• AGAIG Turns (As Good As It Gets) — true RSI double top/bottom detection with tolerance matching. When two RSI pivots land within a configurable tolerance, a dotted line connects them and an AGAIG BUY or SELL label fires. This is the indicator's signature feature for identifying exhaustion points.
• Smart Divergence Detection (Regular + Hidden) with one-per-trend filtering — eliminates stale, late divergence signals that fire after the move has already played out.
• Candlestick Pattern Recognition on RSI candles — Engulfing, Morning Star, and Evening Star patterns detected on the RSI candle structure itself.

WHY CHEBYSHEV FILTERING MATTERS

Standard RSI uses simple or exponential smoothing which produces a noisy, jagged line that generates constant false overbought/oversold readings. Chebyshev Type I filtering is a mathematical approach borrowed from signal processing that provides sharper frequency cutoff with minimal distortion. In practical terms:
• Smoother RSI movement without the lag penalty of simply increasing the period
• Cleaner pivot points which produce more reliable fractal and AGAIG signals
• More accurate divergence detection because noise-induced false pivots are eliminated
• RSI candle formations that reflect meaningful momentum shifts rather than random noise
The difference is immediately visible when you compare this indicator to a standard RSI on the same chart.

RSI CANDLE COLOR MODES

RSI Pro+ offers two coloring modes for the RSI candles themselves:
• Bull/Bear (default): Green candles when RSI closes above open, red when below. Candle Trend style shows hollow green (bullish) and solid red (bearish).
• Gradient: 5-zone color based on RSI position — deep red (oversold) → red → yellow (neutral) → green → bright green (overbought). Shows RSI zone context at a glance. In Candle Trend mode, bullish candles are hollow with gradient border and wicks, bearish candles are solid gradient filled — so you get both trend direction (hollow vs solid) and zone context (color) simultaneously.
Separate from this, optional Price Bar Coloring applies the same gradient or bull/bear logic to the candles on your main price chart.

GOLDILOCKS FRACTALS — SIGNALS IN THE SWEET SPOT

The indicator uses Williams Fractal logic on RSI candle highs and lows to identify confirmed pivot points. The Goldilocks filtering ensures signals only fire when they matter:
• BUY signals only fire when the RSI pivot occurs BELOW the oversold threshold (default: 35)
• SELL signals only fire when the RSI pivot occurs ABOVE the overbought threshold (default: 65)
• Both thresholds are fully adjustable
This means you never get a BUY signal when RSI is at 60 or a SELL signal when RSI is at 45. Signals only fire when RSI is in an extreme zone AND has confirmed a pivot reversal within that zone.
NON-REPAINTING GUARANTEE:
Fractal signals are confirmed only after N bars have passed (configurable via "Fractal Confirmation Bars", default 1). Once they appear, they are permanently locked. They will never disappear, move, or change. This is signal DELAY (good), not repainting (bad).

AGAIG TURNS — TRUE RSI DOUBLE TOP/BOTTOM

AGAIG (As Good As It Gets) detects when RSI makes two pivots at approximately the same level — a true double top or double bottom on the RSI itself. This is one of the most reliable exhaustion signals available:
• Scans previous RSI pivot highs/lows stored in memory (up to 20 pivots, configurable scan window)
• When a new RSI pivot matches a previous pivot within the Match Tolerance (default: 5 RSI points), the signal fires
• A dotted line connects the two matching pivots for clear visual confirmation
• AGAIG SELL = RSI double top (bearish exhaustion)
• AGAIG BUY = RSI double bottom (bullish exhaustion)
• Optional OB/OS zone filtering restricts signals to extreme zones only

• Pivot Length (default 1): Bars each side to confirm RSI pivot. Lower = more pivots detected = more potential matches.

SMART DIVERGENCE DETECTION

Divergence between price and RSI is one of the most widely used leading signals in technical analysis. RSI Pro+ detects four types using confirmed, non-repainting pivot points — with an intelligent one-per-trend filter:
• Regular Bullish Divergence: Price makes a lower low while RSI makes a higher low. Signals weakening selling pressure. Solid green line.
• Regular Bearish Divergence: Price makes a higher high while RSI makes a lower high. Signals weakening buying pressure. Solid red line.
• Hidden Bullish Divergence: Price makes a higher low while RSI makes a lower low. Signals uptrend continuation. Dashed blue line.
• Hidden Bearish Divergence: Price makes a lower high while RSI makes a higher high. Signals downtrend continuation. Dashed orange line.
ONE-PER-TREND FILTER:
Once a bearish divergence fires, no additional bearish divergences can fire until RSI crosses back above 60 (indicating a new bullish leg). Same in reverse for bullish divergences (resets below 40). This eliminates the common problem of stale second or third divergence signals firing after the move has already played out.

Instead of a single RSI line, the indicator calculates separate RSI values for Open, High, Low, and Close, then displays them as OHLC candles. Read the RSI the same way you read price — body size, wick length, and candle patterns all carry meaningful information.
