John Bollinger introduced his Percent Bandwidth (%B) almost 3 decades after the introduction of his Bollinger bands. This Indicator is derived from the standard Bollinger bands and tracks percentage distance between current price and its historical deviations, to look for discount zones which can be useful in identifying trends ,pullbacks and mean reversion. This indicator thrives in a lower time frame setting and is perfect for scalping.
