What it is
Daily BTC trend strategy that beat buy‑and‑hold over full history with much shallower drawdowns. It includes walk‑forward windows, optimizer‑friendly inputs, realistic costs, and alert‑ready entries/exits.

Defaults
Fast EMA 13, Slow EMA 90, Exit threshold 1.5, Squeeze = Sqz Off only, Trend filter ON (EMA 100), Trailing OFF.
Execution: commission 0.06% per side, slippage 0–1 ticks, quantity % of equity, pyramiding 0.

How to use
Add to a BTC 1‑Day chart (e.g., BLX / INDEX:BTCUSD for full history; BYBIT:BTCUSDT.P or BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P for live).
Set alerts → Condition: this strategy → Order fills only → Once per bar close.
Walk‑forward modes let you test IS/OOS windows before reverting to “Whole Chart” for live alerts.

What it is

How to use
1) Add to a BTC 1‑Day chart.
• Full history: BLX or INDEX:BTCUSD
• Live/tradable: BYBIT:BTCUSDT.P or BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P
2) Alerts: Condition = this strategy → “Order fills only” → “Once per bar close”.
3) Walk‑forward: Use the built‑in WF windows for IS/OOS testing. For live alerts, switch back to “Whole Chart”.

Defaults (robust starting set)
• Fast EMA 13, Slow EMA 90, Trend EMA 100
• Exit threshold 1.5 (sensitivity)
• Squeeze filter = “Sqz Off only”; Trend filter ON (close > Trend EMA)
• ADX filter OFF by default (DI 14, Smoothing 14, Threshold 20 available)
• Risk controls OFF by default (Stop, Trailing, Time‑exit)
• Execution realism: commission 0.06% per side, slippage 0–1 ticks, quantity = % of equity, pyramiding 0

Optimizer & selection guidance
• Sweep the input ranges with Strategy Optimizer (or manual grids), then select sets that pass:
– Max drawdown ≤ 35%
– Profit factor ≥ 1.4
– Closed trades ≥ 30 in‑sample
– Sharpe ≥ 0.8 (soft)
• Re‑test shortlisted sets on BYBIT:BTCUSDT.P (or BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P) to confirm they persist on a tradable market.
• The on‑chart metrics table shows Net %, Max DD %, PF, trades, and Sharpe with simple pass/fail flags for quick screening.

Notes
• Use 1‑Day timeframe only.
• Buy & Hold overlay in Strategy Tester is useful for context (set to Percentage view).
• This script is long‑only by default; short logic is present but disabled.

Correctness update and multi‑asset validation. Fixed a defect that inflated results and occasionally created false entries/exits. Signals now come from daily data with lookahead_off, one‑trade‑per‑day gating, and realistic exits (intrabar trailing with Bar Magnifier or daily‑only). In addition to BTC, this strategy has historically performed well in backtests on XRPUSD and SOLUSD using asset‑specific presets. Full metrics, IS/OOS windows, and exact inputs are in the docs. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
