This script is a user-friendly tool designed to enhance your chart analysis by adding vertical lines at the start of specific time periods. Here's what it does:

The "HTF Vertical Lines" indicator overlays vertical lines on your chart based on a higher timeframe (HTF) of your choice. You can customize it through two simple settings:

  1. Timeframe: Select the timeframe for the vertical lines, such as 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month. By default, it’s set to 1 hour. This determines how often the lines appear—for example, choosing "1D" will place a vertical line at the start of each day.
  2. Line Style and Color: Pick the appearance of the lines—choose between solid, dashed, or dotted styles (default is dashed), and adjust the color to your preference (default is a light gray). This makes it easy to match the lines to your chart’s look and feel.


The script automatically detects the exact start of each new period based on your selected timeframe and draws a vertical line that spans the entire height of your chart. These lines help you quickly identify key time boundaries, making it easier to spot trends, shifts, or events tied to specific time intervals. It’s a simple yet powerful way to keep your analysis organized and visually clear!
