Parabolic SAR with the ADX overlayThe following indicator and chart pattern is based on a twist from Welles Wilder's parabolic stop and reverse . This is a trend following system which is essentially a dynamic trailing stop loss for longs and shorts. The system is often criticized for it's poor performance in choppy rangebound markets so people often combine it with other signals that attempt to identify a "trend" the ADX is a popular indicator with three indicators, the DI+ "Positive Directional Indicator" the DI- "Negative Directional Indicator" and then a combination of the two, the ADX "Average Directional Indicator". Generally speaking, if the DI+ is above the DI- and the ADX is greater than 25 then we are in a positive trending market. If the DI+ is less than the DI- and the ADX is greater than 25 then we are in a negative trending market. If the ADX is less than 25 then there is no trend in place and we are in a range bound "choppy market".
So, I created this chart to show when the ADX is > 25 (or you can enter your own number) and the DI+ is > DI- then the background will be green. Vice versa, when the ADX is >25 and the DI+ is < DI- then we are in a negative trending market and the background color will be red. If the ADX is < 25 (or whatever you choose) then we are in a choppy 'range-bound" market.
Regarding the ParSAR. Pay attention to the "+" marks. they indicate whether we are bullish or bearish. When we cross through a + then we revert to the opposite. "Stop And Reverse". They are a simple calculation of a starting percentage, an incremental increase in that percentage, and a max percentage increase. If you want your system to trade less, decrease the "maximum" If you want it to trade more, increase the maximum.
Tinker around with these and you might find a healthy strategy you can trade on.
If you add Take Profit Targets and Stop Loss Targets, this is an even more productive strategy. Try it out on BINANCE:ETHUSDT with a 2hr time horizon and 0.02, 0.023, 0.2.

Parabolic SAR of KAMA [Loxx]Parabolic SAR of KAMA attempts to reduce noise and volatility from regular Parabolic SAR in order to derive more accurate trends. In addition, and to further reduce noise and enhance trend identification, PSAR of KAMA includes two calculations of efficiency ratio: 1) price change adjusted for the daily volatility; or, 2) Jurik Fractal Dimension Adaptive (explained below)
What is PSAR?
The parabolic SAR indicator, developed by J. Wells Wilder, is used by traders to determine trend direction and potential reversals in price. The indicator uses a trailing stop and reverse method called "SAR," or stop and reverse, to identify suitable exit and entry points. Traders also refer to the indicator as to the parabolic stop and reverse, parabolic SAR, or PSAR.
What is KAMA?
Developed by Perry Kaufman, Kaufman's Adaptive Moving Average (KAMA) is a moving average designed to account for market noise or volatility. KAMA will closely follow prices when the price swings are relatively small and the noise is low. KAMA will adjust when the price swings widen and follow prices from a greater distance. This trend-following indicator can be used to identify the overall trend, time turning points and filter price movements.
What is the efficiency ratio?
In statistical terms, the Efficiency Ratio tells us the fractal efficiency of price changes. ER fluctuates between 1 and 0, but these extremes are the exception, not the norm. ER would be 1 if prices moved up 10 consecutive periods or down 10 consecutive periods. ER would be zero if price is unchanged over the 10 periods.
What is Jurik Fractal Dimension?
There is a weak and a strong way to measure the random quality of a time series.
The weak way is to use the random walk index (RWI). You can download it from the Omega web site. It makes the assumption that the market is moving randomly with an average distance D per move and proposes an amount the market should have changed over N bars of time. If the market has traveled less, then the action is considered random, otherwise it's considered trending.
The problem with this method is that taking the average distance is valid for a Normal (Gaussian) distribution of price activity. However, price action is rarely Normal, with large price jumps occuring much more frequently than a Normal distribution would expect. Consequently, big jumps throw the RWI way off, producing invalid results.
The strong way is to not make any assumption regarding the distribution of price changes and, instead, measure the fractal dimension of the time series. Fractal Dimension requires a lot of data to be accurate. If you are trading 30 minute bars, use a multi-chart where this indicator is running on 5 minute bars and you are trading on 30 minute bars.
Conclusion from the combined efforts explained above:
-PSAR is a tool that identifies trends
-To reduce noise and identify trends during periods of low volatility, we calculate a PSAR on KAMA
-To enhance noise and reduction and trend identification, we attempt to derive an efficiency ratio that is less reliant on a Normal (Gaussian) distribution of price
Included:
-Customization of all variables
-Select from two different ER calculation styles
-Multiple timeframe enabled
Pinbar trailing stop strategyThe strategy finds the nearest pinbar pattern and opens a position (long or short). You choose your take profit and stop loss multiplier.
Take Profit - X times the pinbar size from it's highest point.
Stop loss - X times the pinbar size from it's lowest point.

Smoothed Heikin Ashi Trend on Chart - TraderHalaiThis indicator is a predictive tool using Heikinashi to calculate shifts in trade direction.
It works by reverse-engineering the regular candle stick closing price required, to flip the Heiken Ashi candle from Red to Green and vice-versa.
Below, is an earlier indicator that I released and created. This plots this price as an oscillator, which allows traders to get a predictive indicator of a trend change.
This indicator extends upon this functionality by adding a smoothing function to the reverse-engineered regular candle stick closing price, to reduce the choppiness of signals. It also plots the indicator on the chart to allow for easier visual confirmation.
How to use
1) As a directional bias - Bullish or bearish
2) Volatility expansion/contraction - further distance from line means volatility expansion - am planning to release an oscillator version also
3) Trailing stop loss - once you are in a trade
Other Features
Select a moving average period and smoothing calculation method (e.g. SMA / EMA)
Non-repaint mode for backtesting and use/integration with higher timeframes
Final note - Open Source
I am releasing this as open-source for the benefit of the community and to allow further development, scrutiny and criticism. Please feel free to use this indicator as you see fit. If you do use this indicator to create another script, feel free to drop me a note, as I would be highly interested in your idea.
Thanks, and Enjoy!
Steven Primo's bollinger bands strategyHi, this strategy is taken from a video made by Steven Primo. You can look it up on YouTube if you want to know about it.
It is a mean-reversion strategy based on the Bollinger Bands, in which we wait for 5 consecutive closes above the upper band, and for a short-term top. Once it happens, we place an entry order on this top, with a stop at the nearest bottom before the movement started, and use the difference from the stop and entry point to determine the target. For shorting, it's the same process, but for the downside. From my testing, only long orders were profitable, but you can configure whichever you want.
It works well for directional markets with a low level of noise, as you can see with the BTCUSD chart. One of its caveats is the short number of occurrences, and the long stop loss and target. You can enable a trailing stop, but from my testings, it just made the results worse.
I made some modifications, like removing the MA requirement, since the entry point was above it almost all the time, and I forced the BB to use a log version of the prices, so that discrepancies are eliminated. You'll also notice that you can't select an extension that is lower than 100, and that is intentional, since you're not supposed to enter a trade in which you can lose more than what you can earn.
I chose not to implement any kind of risk management, but I might do that in the future. You can leave your suggestions in the comments.

PFCC - Pivot Fractal Chaos Channel [Open Source]With the release of my indicator "TOTC - Trade outside the Channel" , the Pivot Fractal Chaos Channel used there has attracted significant interest.
Due to requests from some users, I am happy to publish the source code of the PFCC - although it is not "new" and has been implemented in many other scripts in one way or another. Some Examples:
Support and Resistance Levels with Breaks:
Support Resistance MTF:
Pivot Points High Low (HH/HL/LH/LL):
The code is briefly commented. Please feel free to use or further customize it ... And, of course, I would be happy to be named and/or linked. If you're satisfied, maybe buy me a coffee ;-)
I'm curious to see how this indicator will develop with more ideas - Please keep me updated by commenting below or by sending me a message.
Let's take a quick look at the function and idea
PFCC - "Pivot Fractal Chaos Channel" or also known as "Fractal Chaos Band" can serve as a baseline trend indicator for your strategy.
Essentially, the "Fractal Chaos Channel" shows an overall panorama of price action. As they filter out the insignificant price fluctuations. The upper level is created by drawing price highs and the lower level is created by drawing price lows.
Two Ideas, how this indicator can be used
Trend indicator: If the price breaks the upper line, it could be taken as a buy signal. If the price breaks the lower line, it could be taken as a sell signal.
Trailing Stop Loss: You can track the stop loss with the rising line in case of a buy trade. On the other hand, you can track the stop loss with the falling fractal line in case of a sell trade.
What do I need to consider?
It may be advisable to add further indicators and an analysis of the market structure in order to confirm the signals issued by the indicator. Please note that when you make adjustments to any strategy, you always carry out particularly detailed tests.
You would like to use this indicator, but you have adjustment requests, you want to have additional filters or features implemented, ...?
I am happy to create individual indicators based on "PFCC - Pivot Fractal Chaos Channel" or your ideas. Write me a message and we will discuss the details and conditions.
Smoothed Heiken AshiIt is a Heiken Ashi candle overlay. It has a selectable moving average before HA calculation and another after HA calculation, to smooth original Heiken Ashi candles.
It can be used:
Detecting Short/Long term trend direction
Dynamic support/resistance, not just a line, but it has a height
Trailing stop
Trend reversal detection, when price cross above/below Heiken Ashi candle
A lot of moving averages can be selected to adjust it to the selected market.
It uses my TAExt library, so you can use it in your strategies as well.
Chandelier Exit - StrategyI created a strategy version for the Chandelier Exit indicator, originally owned by @everget . With the strategy I prepared, you can try both short-long and stop loss - trailing stop and take profit rates. I have also added a date filter feature so that you can test the strategy in the date range you want.
Automated Bitcoin (BTC) Investment Strategy from Wunderbit Automated Bitcoin (BTC) Investment Strategy from Wunderbit Trading
This strategy is designed for the automated long-term investment in Bitcoin. The BTC investment strategy is primarily suitable for long-term investors who want to increase the percentage of their investments through timely trading long-term transactions. Heikin Ashi Candle Startegy for Long PositionThis strategy utilize Heikin-Ashi candlestick chart.
Heikin-Ashi technique is a Japanese candlestick-based technical trading tool that uses candlestick charts to represent and visualize market price data.
Heikin-Ashi candle is essentially taking an average of the movement.
There is a tendency with Heikin-Ashi for the candles to stay red during a downtrend and green during an uptrend.
This strategy only apply for long trading position.
The idea is trader will waiting 3 green candles for validation period (confirmation) before entering long position.
Different timeframe will result different result.
Number of validation period can be changed to see different result
This strategy has parameter for take profit percentage, trailing stop and stop loss.
User can set maximum active position to minimize risk and qty order.
This tool is useful for user who wants to backtest Heikin-Ashi trading strategy.
Script will emit alert when long position is opened and closed.
Warning of Backtesting
Backtesting is backward-looking. As the name implies, you are testing how something would have worked if you traded it perfectly in the past.
Past performance does not indicate future performance and you should not assume it does.
Backtesting assumes you never miss-fire, that you get in and out at the exactly perfect moment each time.
Backtesting assumes you have perfect liquidity, and your limit orders fill at a specific, pre-defined price every time (either the open, close, low, high, or some average of these).
