I open the screen and 1.5 million people open their screen at the same time
I look at markets and wonder
and 1.5 million people look at all kinds of markets
and wonder about all kinds of things
I never created this company
and on most days I learn and on half of the days, in spite of good intentions,
I look like a fool
because I wanted to ... but failed
because I tried hard, so very hard but ended up short
because all I wanted was to say something intelligent and I got caught in a mode
and what came out was nonsense, but not even good nonsense
and yet, unyielding, I move ahead
in spite of blunders and so many of them I lost count long ago
and yet I go through walls and I cross oceans
and I walk one foot after the other
why?
because when I get up, 1.5 million people get up
when I try my best, 1.5 million try their best as well, in their own way
because there are 1.5 million people, real, living, breathing, humans
and I am just part of them
one out of 1.5 million people
and even if I am just one, each day, I try to make a difference
in this company I never created

is there anything truly w.orth it that is easy? no
do I feel sometimes like it's all too much? yes
did I ever feel like maybe I am not doing my very best? sure
and guess what? all I want to do is carry on
because I know that there are users in remote towns of New Zealand
in fishing villages in Indonesia
in huts and campgrounds in the jungle
and in towers in Manhattan
who look at TradingView each day
and some of them are happy to use the French version
the one I am taking care of
of that I am so proud
that the French language, often placed third or fifth in finance
finally has a voice here
do I feel like all people who speak French should use it?
that is not for me to say
but if they come and visit and ask me how things are going
I'll tell them they are going strong
