NIO Options Ahead of Earnings

If you haven`t bought NIO here:

Then Analyzing the options chain of NIO prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 8usd strike price Calls with
an expiration date of 2023-7-21,
for a premium of approximately $0.65.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

NIO trading at $8.75 after earnings, calls up at least 50% at that point, haven`t monitored the market closely. It went lower before the market close.
