How It Works
Pivot Detection
The indicator scans historical bars to identify valid pivot highs and lows. A pivot high is confirmed when the high of a candle is higher than surrounding candles on both sides. The same logic applies inversely for pivot lows. The number of bars required for confirmation is adjustable.
Level Strength Calculation
Each detected level is assigned a strength value based on how many times price has touched or approached that level in the past. Levels with higher strength (more touches) are considered more significant and can be displayed with thicker lines.
Zone Width
Support and resistance zones have an adjustable width (default 0.5% of price), recognizing that these levels often act as areas rather than exact price points. This tolerance helps account for wicks, spreads, and normal price volatility.
Break Detection
When enabled, the indicator removes levels once price closes beyond them, keeping your chart clean and focused on currently relevant levels. A resistance level is considered broken when price closes above it, and a support level is broken when price closes below it.
Input Parameters
Pivot Length (3-20, default 7): Number of bars on each side required to confirm a pivot point. Higher values produce fewer but more reliable pivots.
Maximum S/R Levels (5-20, default 10): Maximum number of support and resistance levels to display simultaneously.
Minimum Strength (1-5, default 2): Minimum number of historical touches required for a level to be displayed.
Zone Width % (0.1-2.0, default 0.5): Width of support/resistance zones as a percentage of price.

🔶 USAGE
Projections are mechanical target levels derived from the manipulation leg following a confirmed change in state of delivery (CISD). They estimate where price is most likely to travel next by applying extended Fibonacci projection levels off the swing that initiated the move.
The tool works in the following way:
1. Detect the reversal bar that signals a shift in delivery.
2. Identify the manipulation leg: the swing that caused the reversal.
3. Anchor projections from this leg using customized Fibonacci levels such as 1, 2, 2.5, 4, 4.5 — each representing a potential target based on leg size and market expansion expectation.
For a correct target interpretation:
Average-sized legs often target between 2 and 2.5 levels.
Expanding legs may reach 4 to 4.5.
Large manipulation legs may warrant conservative expectations, focusing on 1 target.

🔹 Filtering Setups
The chart shows how the output is affected by different filtering options:
Bars Threshold: show setups with a minimum number of bars in the manipulation leg.
CISD Filter: show setups only at the top or bottom of the range for the last X bars.
Invalidate CISDs on CHoCH: setups stop expanding after the first close beyond the manipulation leg.
We can obtain more meaningful setups with larger filter values by filtering the setups, or we can zoom in on details at the trader's discretion by disabling all filters.

This indicator automates years of manual chart work: detecting trendlines, forming support/resistance zones, tracking zone lifecycles, and scoring touches by quality. Instead of counting touches equally, the system weights them by precision, reaction type and volume so a high-volume wick rejection gets more influence than a low-volume consolidation.
The core philosophy is simple: not all touches are equal. A wick rejection at high volume carries more weight than a body consolidation at low volume. A zone that held three times deserves more attention than one that just formed. This indicator captures that nuanced approach through a quality-weighted touch scoring system.

HOW IT WORKS
--- TRENDLINE DETECTION ---
The system identifies trendlines through a multi-step process:
Step 1: Pivot Detection
The indicator scans for significant swing highs and swing lows using a sensitivity parameter that automatically scales based on your chart timeframe. Shorter timeframes use faster detection, while daily charts use slower, more significant pivots.
Step 2: Line Validation
For each pair of pivots, the system calculates:
- Slope direction (upward for bullish, downward for bearish)
- Current relevance (is the projected line near current price?)
- Minimum touch requirements
Step 3: Touch Quality Scoring
This is where the system differs from simple trendline indicators. Each touch is scored based on:
Precision: How close did price get to the line? A touch at the exact line scores 1.0, while a touch at the edge of tolerance scores lower.
Reaction Type: The system classifies touches into categories:
* Wick Rejection (1.0) - Wick touched but body stayed outside
* Body Rejection (0.8) - Body touched but closed with reaction
* False Break (1.2) - Price broke through then recovered (strongest signal)
* Consolidation (0.5) - Price lingered without clear rejection
Volume Weight: When volume integration is enabled, high-volume touches receive a boost (up to 1.5x), while low-volume touches are discounted (down to 0.5x).
Step 4: Display Filtering
Only trendlines meeting minimum touch count AND minimum average precision are displayed. This eliminates weak, coincidental alignments.

Each state is visually distinct:

Zone Decay:
Zones that price ignores gradually lose strength. The decay rate is configurable (default 0.997 per bar). This means a zone loses roughly half its strength after 230 bars of no interaction. This prevents old, irrelevant levels from cluttering your chart.
Zone Reactivation:
If price returns to a decayed zone, it receives a strength boost, recognizing that the level remains relevant.

Pivot-Anchored Liquidity Heatmap
**PLEASE READ: After adding indicator to chart, right click on indicator or click on "more"(3 dots to right of indicator name), hover over "pin to scale", and select "Pinned to right scale**
The indicator tries to show you where price has repeatedly reacted (pivoted) and treats those prices like liquidity shelves (places where lots of orders tend to sit).
It scans the last Calculated Bars and builds a price range it cares about, then splits that range into Bins (price slices). Every time price makes a local swing high or swing low, it drops that event into the nearest bin and adds weighted volume to that bin (bigger/more convincing rejections count more). Bins with enough activity become significant levels using one rule: % above the average bin (30% = more levels, 50% = default balance, 75% = only the biggest shelves). That same rule also controls alerts.
What you see on the chart:
* Profile bars (the little horizontal blocks) = strength at that price bin.
* Heatmap lines (horizontal lines extending left) = those same levels projected across time.
* Color: green-ish = support side (below price), red-ish = resistance side (above price). Stronger = more intense.
* Opacity + thickness: stronger levels look more solid and thicker; weaker levels are faint.
* POC (if on) = the single strongest bin (most activity) highlighted in white. Acts as a magnet. Especially important when it shifts above or below price.
* Bin text can show raw volume or notional ($ value approx = volume × price), or nothing.
Two “smart” behaviors (learning):
* Pressure Context: watches candle behavior (body size, volume vs average, CMF-like flow, volatility regime) to guess whether buying or selling pressure is dominant, then boosts levels that align with that pressure and dampens levels that fight it.
* Pulled Orders Simulation: if price gets close to a level and pressure suggests it won’t hold, the indicator temporarily shrinks that level (as if orders were pulled). If price backs off or pressure aligns again, it rebuilds.
Alerts:
* Fires when price touches a significant level (based on the same significance threshold), optionally only on bar close.
Simple Rules:
* Monitor the "POC". It is especially important to pay attention when it shifts above or below price as the level tends to act as a magnet.
* Treat bright/thick levels as decision zones, not exact lines: price often wicks through then reacts.
* If price is below a strong red level → expect resistance (pullbacks/rejections).
* If price is above a strong green level → expect support (bounces/holds).
* Best beginner play: wait for reaction + confirmation (bounce candle at support / rejection candle at resistance), not just a touch.
* If a level fades/shrinks as price approaches, that’s the tool hinting: this shelf may be getting “pulled” and could break; be cautious about blindly buying/selling the first touch.

Tracks and scores repeated interactions with the level.
Upgrades a zone from candidate to confirmed when enough evidence accumulates.
Invalidates zones when price achieves sustained acceptance away from them.
The output is a set of shaded boxes (zones) centered on strike-like levels, with text readouts that show the current state of each zone.
Key concept: “Gamma proxy”
A true gamma flip requires options positioning data. This indicator does not use options chain gamma.
Instead, it uses a proxy approach:
When markets have elevated volatility relative to their recent baseline AND trend strength is weak, price often behaves “sticky” around key levels.
In those conditions, repeated touches and failed escapes around a level behave similarly to pinning around strikes.
So this tool is best read as:
“Where would a strike-like magnet likely exist right now, based on price behavior and regime conditions?”
How zones are created
Zones only start forming when the script detects a pin-friendly regime.
1) Strike Ladder (level selection)
Auto Strike Step selects a step size based on current price magnitude (bigger price, bigger step).
Manual Strike Step lets you force a fixed increment.
The current “active level” is the nearest rounded level to price.
Major Level Every optionally marks major ladder levels (multiples of step).
2) Band construction (zone thickness)
Each zone is a symmetric band around the level, using one of two modes:
ATR mode scales thickness with volatility.
Percent mode scales thickness as a fraction of price.
This matters because “pin behavior” is not a single tick. It’s a region where price repeatedly probes and rejects.
Regime filter (when the script is allowed to believe in pinning)
A zone is only eligible to form and strengthen when Pin Regime is active. Pin Regime is a conjunction of:
1) IV proxy (ATR z-score)
Uses ATR as a volatility proxy.
Converts ATR% into a z-score relative to a long lookback.
IV Proxy Threshold controls how elevated volatility must be before the script considers pinning likely.
2) Weak trend requirement
The script also requires price action to be non-trending:
EMA spread must be small (fast vs slow EMA not diverging strongly).
ADX must be below a ceiling, confirming weak directional trend strength.
Interpretation:
High “IV proxy” + weak trend is where pin-like behavior is most common.
If trend is strong, zones are less meaningful because price is more likely to accept away from levels.
Flip confirmation logic (what upgrades a zone)
A zone is not “confirmed” just because price is near it once. The script builds conviction via evidence accumulation.
Evidence types:
Touches : price comes close to the level within tolerance.
Failed escapes : price pushes outside the band but closes back inside (rejection).
Acceptance run : consecutive closes outside the band, suggesting price is accepting away from the zone.
Protections:
Touch Cooldown prevents counting the same micro-chop as multiple touches.
Acceptance Bars defines what “real acceptance” means, so the zone does not get invalidated by one noisy bar.
A zone becomes confirmed when:
Touches meet the “evidence” requirement.
Failed escapes meet the “rejection” requirement.
The regime filter still says the market is pin-friendly.
That is important, it avoids promoting levels that only worked briefly in a trending tape.
Zone scoring and lifecycle
Each zone maintains a score that evolves over time. Think of score as “how much this level has recently behaved like a magnet.”
Score dynamics:
Decay per bar : score fades over time if price stops respecting the zone.
+ per touch : repeated proximity increases score.
+ per failed escape : rejections add stronger reinforcement.
- per acceptance bar : sustained trading outside reduces score.
Min score to draw : prevents clutter from weak, low-confidence zones.
Invalidation:
If the score becomes very weak AND price achieves sustained acceptance away from the zone, the zone is deleted.
This keeps the chart clean and ensures zones represent current market behavior, not ancient levels.
How to read the plot on chart
1) Zone fill and border
Each zone is drawn as a box extended to the right.
Fill opacity adapts to zone strength, strong zones are visually more prominent.
Border color encodes the current directional context and special events.
2) Bullish vs bearish coloring
A zone is colored bullish when price is currently trading above the zone’s mid-level.
A zone is colored bearish when price is currently trading below it.
This is not a trade signal by itself, it is a state cue for “which side is in control around the level.”
3) Failed escape highlighting
If price attempts to break above the band and fails, the border temporarily highlights as a failed up escape.
If price attempts to break below the band and fails, the border temporarily highlights as a failed down escape.
These are the moments where pin behavior is most visible:
Break attempt.
Immediate rejection.
Return to the band.
4) Midline (optional)
The zone midline is the strike-like level itself.
It is dotted to distinguish it from price structure lines.
5) Optional strike ladder overlay
When enabled, the script draws major and minor ladder lines near current price.
Major levels are thicker and less transparent.
This is a visualization aid for “where the algorithm is rounding,” not a prediction tool.
On-chart text readout (what the box text means)
Each box prints a compact state summary, designed for fast scanning:
Γ CANDIDATE means the zone is being tracked but not yet validated.
Γ FLIP (PROXY) means the zone has met confirmation requirements.
BULL/BEAR indicates which side price is on relative to the mid-level.
L prints the level value.
T is touch count, repeated proximity events.
F is fail count, rejected escape attempts.
IVz is the volatility proxy z-score at the moment.
ADX is the trend strength context.
Practical use cases
1) Pinning and range trading context
Confirmed zones often act like gravity wells in sideways or rotational regimes.
When price repeatedly fails to escape, fading outer edges can be reasonable context for mean reversion workflows.
2) Breakout validation
If price achieves acceptance outside the band for multiple bars, that is stronger breakout context than a single wick.
Zones that invalidate cleanly can mark transitions from pinning to directional move.
3) Time your “do nothing” periods
When Pin Regime is active and a zone is confirmed, the tape often becomes sticky and inefficient for trend chasing.
This helps avoid taking trend entries into a pin environment.

Tuning guidelines
Sensitivity vs quality
Lower Touches Needed and Failed Escapes Needed creates more zones faster, but with lower quality.
Higher values create fewer zones, but the ones that remain are more behaviorally “proven.”
Band width
ATR mode adapts to volatility and is typically safer across assets.
Percent mode is consistent visually but can feel too tight in high vol or too wide in low vol if not tuned.
Regime thresholds
If you want fewer zones, raise IV proxy threshold and tighten weak-trend filters.
If you want more zones, lower IV proxy threshold and loosen weak-trend filters.
Limitations
This is a proxy model, not live options gamma.
In strong trends, pinning assumptions can break, the regime filter is there to reduce that risk, but not eliminate it.
Auto strike step is designed for typical market ranges, manual step is recommended for niche tick sizes or custom markets.
