Projection Bandwidth [CC]The Projection Bandwidth was created by Mel Widner (Stocks and Commodities Jul 1995) and this is another of my series of indicators that I consider undiscovered gems. For those of you who are unaware, the Bandwidth indicator measures the distance between the high and low bands and if you remember from my Projection Bands script, the Projection Bands give pretty accurate early signals of trend reversals and followed fairly closely by a large bulge in the bands. The large bulges in the bands essentially act as the confirmation that the trend reversal is happening and so that brings me to this indicator. This indicator gives signals based on if it has reached a peak or a valley. Both extremes mean that the current trend is ending and I have color coded it based on the buy and sell signals from my Projection Bands indicator. I have included strong buy and sell signals in addition to normal ones so strong signals are darker in color and normal signals are lighter in color. Buy when the line turns green and sell when it turns red.
Let me know if there are any other scripts or indicators you would like to see me publish!
Projection
Projection Bands [CC]The Projection Bands were created by Mel Widner (Stocks and Commodities Jul 1995) and this indicator and the other two that rely on this one (I will publish them later) are very underappreciated in my humble opinion. The biggest strength of this indicator is the fact that it is a leading indicator for dramatic price movements. As you can see in my example chart it consistently gives great exit points before a downturn. I have included strong buy and sell signals in addition to normal ones so strong signals are darker in color and normal signals are lighter in color. Buy when the line turns green and sell when it turns red.
Let me know if there are any other indicators or scripts you would like to see me publish!
Auto VPTWhenever the volume of a candle is at or over 1.5 times the previous volume, it automatically places a cross on the Volume Price Target (candle range projected from the close) of the candle with abnormal volume.

Penrose DiagramGreetings Traders! This is my measly 2 dimensional non-curved take on a Penrose Diagram .
What is a Penrose Diagram?
jila.colorado.edu
"A Penrose diagram is a kind of spacetime diagram arranged to make clear the complete causal structure of any given geometry. They are an indispensable map for navigating inside a black hole. Roger Penrose, who invented this kind of diagram in the early 1950s, himself calls them conformal diagrams." - Source: jila.colorado.edu
Penrose Diagrams allow an understanding of an infinite surface by projecting 4D Spheres on 2 Dimension Squares. The 4D shape within the 2D Square has the ability to reference a definable edge on an infinite boundary.
I thought this concept interesting, as I tend to hold a viewpoint of price being infinite in its own nature, and tried to combine the concepts as best I could.
In a true Penrose Diagram, you'd see curvature as you reached the edge of each Diagram Square to represent the curvature of space-time and the distorted boundary. However due to limitations of Pine and perhaps my own abilities, I decided to go the cheap route and opt for straight lines, as well as beginning each new Penrose Diagram on a new Session Start.
Also in this version, you will notice on some instruments that, as an example, two triangles overlap each other when you Extend the Penrose Diagram. The result of this is intentional and is due to the calculation of the first Triangle for the Penrose Diagram. The data points for each triangle are variable upon the average highest/lowest point from Open Price and the Max/Min highest/lowest point from Open Price over a variable amount of days. For typical instruments such as Futures products and Forex, it is common to see differences between the Highest High Breakout & Lowest Low Breakout, and therefore a difference between the true center of the Triangle and the corresponding angles. I prefer to use a 20-Day Average Period for Forex and Futures Products, for Crypto a 30 Day Average Period, all adjustable from the options menu.
Due to the differences between the data points(particularly the difference from the Session Open to the Highest High/ Lowest Low), the initial values for the extended Penrose Diagram will sometimes overlap with the initial triangle for Penrose Diagram creation. However keep in mind, all triangles are exactly the same, just rotated 180°and translated above and below the current Session Open Price. You can confirm this yourself using the handy Triangle Tool in your Drawing Tools directly from your TradingView Chart.
Haven't managed to play around on all instruments yet, so give it a whirl, and any feedback is greatly appreciated. Hope you enjoy!

Projected Support And Resistance [CC]Projected Support And Resistance is a custom indicator of mine loosely based on the work done by Ketan Asher (Stocks and Commodities Bonus Issue 2021 pgs 12-14) and generally speaking this does a pretty good job of telling you what the future behavior of the stock will be. As the lines widen apart, there will be either upward or downward momentum. Buy when the line turns green and sell when it turns red.
Let me know what other indicators you would like to see me publish!
ProjectionGreetings Traders! I have decided to release a few scripts as open-source as I'm sure others can benefit from them and perhaps make them better.(Be sure to check my Profile for the other scripts as well: www.tradingview.com).
This one is called Projection.
Projection is based off the same Principle as some of my other scripts, such as Trade Manager() and Price Predictor(). I use a simple concept using line.new() to define some potential Price Projections. From the Settings of the Indicator, you can access a couple different Pre-Set options.
Wide Parabola:
Skinny Parabola:
Straight Triangle:

CC - ATP (Auto-Trendline Projection)I created this script with a simple goal in mind: Automatically plot trend-lines for a given interval with a resolution that fits the period chosen.
To accomplish this I used a combination of the following:
Ichimoku Spans and Ichimoku Span Width.
ATR and standard deviation from the ATR of the Ichimoku width.
Rolling MACD with directional RSI for coloration based on acceleration.
I then combined all of these pieces of data into a single label and line plotter, so that you can see the assumed trend-lines for the current period based on the interval selected. It attempts to avoid using look-ahead logic by resolving using security, and plotting based on the suggested methodologies.
Inputs:
n (this must be the smallest number). - This is usually 7,14 or 26 depending on the resolution you're going for.
m (must be m > n and m < o). - This is usually something close to 14,26 or 52.
o (must be o > m and o < p). - This is usually something close to 26,52 or 180.
p (must be p > o). - This is usually just o * 2 or 52, 180 or 360.
Show historical data - Keeps some of the lagging trend-lines at intervals of m, o and p.
Precision - The decimal precision to round to, useful if you need this for BTC or penny stocks.
Common Inputs I use:
n=7, m=14, o=26, p=52
n=14, m=26, o=52, p=180
n=26, m=52, o=180, p=360
You can use any numbers, but roughly you want:
m = n*2, o = m*2, p = o*2.
The labels contain the following information:
Expected Support/Resistance levels
The first level is assumed to be heading to the second level.
For instance, if you have S1 down to R2, that means a support is likely to become a resist.
If you have, instead, R1 up to R2 that means the resistance is moving up, but is still resist.
S1 down to S2 is similar in that it means the support level is moving lower but is still sup.
R1 up to S2 is the one that you want to look for as it indicates potential swings.
More-overly, R1-->S2 or S1-->R1 indicate pivotal moments.
MACD / RSI for the given period.
Pretty simple, it's given to the number of decimal places offered by the inputs.
Price Targets.
If it's above the price target area, that means the swing already probably happened.
If it's in the price target area, you're at a pivotal moment; it could go up or down.
If you're below the price target area, watch for catalysts that force price target entry.
WARNING:
Please note, all of this is trend analysis and can be completely demolished in an instant by a catalyst. If there is a huge retracement event, you MUST WAIT A MINIMUM OF THE INPUT PERIOD OF TIME FOR THE STOCK TO SETTLE. If you have a retracement within n-m periods for instance, the short data will be inaccurate. If you have a retracement from m-o the mid data may be inaccurate until it triggers retracement. Same with o-p on the long level. The higher numbers you use, the less reactive the script, but the more historical data it will consume. For instance high numbers may be good for amazon, so you have less reaction to big dips, as you are not afraid because it is a strong company. While this is good on strong companies, it is suicidal for unknown ones.
DISCLAIMER:
I do NOT state anywhere that the data provided by this indicator is valid, forward looking, or guaranteed. If you make a trade based on this indicator I am in no way responsible for the outcome. All trades should be backed by personal due diligence and not rely directly on the indicators of others, as they may contain unfound bugs, incorrect math or look-ahead logic that is potentially dangerous. One final disclaimer, I am a programmer at heart, and am new to this field of study. While I have found a group of supportive friends, do realize I have been at this for less time than most others, more notably I started on 8/16/2020. Please shower me with constructive criticism and other thoughts you have.
Please take this script and view it as a learning experience not a tool for money as of this moment, if you have further questions about me or my scripts, please feel free to message me.
Sneeze ProjectionAlong a range of historical price values, this script draws a line from each previous price to the current price and moves the line so it begins at the current price instead of ending at it. The resulting polar array of lines which projects potential price trajectories into the future in a pattern which resembles a sneeze can be used as a visual aid to help anticipate future price direction. Sinus pressure can be adjusted to consider a lesser or greater historical range than the default which is 100 bars and the sneeze trajectory length will reflect the adjustments. I could not get the sneeze lines to be the exact lengths they should be due to type casting difficulties when scaling future delta x to be the same length as past delta x, but they're close enough.
[RS]Shadows Of Past, Present and FutureExperimental:
session projection into the future..
Past, Present, Future
Tell me, tell me, smiling child,
What the past is like to thee ?
'An Autumn evening soft and mild
With a wind that sighs mournfully.’
Tell me, what is the present hour ?
'A green and flowery spray
Where a young bird sits gathering its power
To mount and fly away.’
And what is the future, happy one ?
'A sea beneath a cloudless sun ;
A mighty, glorious, dazzling sea
Stretching into infinity.’

Intro
Bringing you another open source Gem this time from the January 2020 Issue of TASC.
Description
In the article in the Oct 2019 TASC issue titled "An interplanetary marriage" author Jay Leavitt describes the evolution process required in strategy design by introducing his Mars strategy. This grew out of concepts presented in his earlier TASC articles such as the stratosphere, moon rocket, and tech emini strategies. This dual indicator uses a linear regression of price data to help derive slope and acceleration information, in turn helping him to identify trends and trend turning points.
Additions
As usual a few useful extras are included such as a rudimentary signaling system, bar coloration by trade state, overbought/oversold areas to assist in algorithmic setups, and more!

(5) Volume Price Projection VS-93Volume Price Projection, displays only the differences the current volume represents above or below the current moving average of volume. This isolates only significant volume events for the trader. When utilized in combination with a simple volume/price matrix chart, traders are provided with a powerful tool-set, alerting traders of potential opportunities while providing strong conformations of your trading decisions.
Volume is a direct reflection of the current level of interest in this equity. What is important about interest levels, regardless of sentiment (positive or negative,) produced by any event, is if the event or news is to have an impact on share price, the volume will increase as a result. This volume increase provides the liquidity required to allow market dynamics to fuel changes in price. This makes significant volume increases the hallmark of any meaningful changes, first in interest, which results in higher volume, and second, in influencing sentiment with the end result being a change in price.
We consider volume increases over the moving average of volume (significant volume increases) to be such an important trading principal that the blue background flag it triggers is built into all other Genie Indicators.
Volume Price Projection was originally published in the Journal of Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities; Oct., 2017. by Michael Slattery.
Access this Genie indicator for your Tradingview account, through our web site. (Links Below) This will provide you with additional educational information and reference articles, videos, input and setting options and trading strategies this indicator excels in.
(1) Genie Cycles VS-200The Genie Cycles indicator contains two primary components. The first generates the primary turning-point Entry/Exit signals based on a hybrid algorithms that utilize multiple moving filters and oscillators, all working in concert. The second is our version of Hurst Cycles allowing the trader to view the harmonic convergence of short and long cycles.
The turning-point signals are generated by two Center of Gravity Oscillators (COG) originally developed by John Ehlers and published in Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities in its May 2002 issue.
COG produces a moving filter that heavily weights the most extreme and most current values in the stream of data within the window of the indicator. COG excels at determining and indicating where, within a parabolic path, tipping or turning points have occurred. Two COG indicators, each one set to a different length and different inputs are incorporated. The output of these two COG filters are them put through another Ehler’s filter, the Pass Band; July 2016 issue of TAOSAC. A pass band filter has the unique ability of removing the higher and lower frequencies from the signal, leaving behind only the core signal. Here we are taking a longer COG period of (10) days, utilizing the candles body size as it’s input and then subtracting a short period of (7) days utilizing only the close of the day. The result is an emphasis on the extreme values, i.e., the maximum apex and the minimum vertex of each parabolic swing. Finally, the Arnaud Legoux Moving Average (ALMA) is utilized as smoothing a filter to slightly shift the weighting from the COG Pass band filter, in a selective and adjustable manor to more current bars, not the most current bar. This is desirable because COG dramatically emphasizes the most current candle or bar as well as large candles and strong deviations from within the moving average.
This provides the trader with excellent responsiveness within a very smooth output signal with very few artifacts or whipsaws, producing highly reliable trading signals that indicate optimal entry and exit points with a high level of accuracy and very little lag.
The primary principals of Hurst cycles are price moves in waves that exhibit cyclic attributes based on their time scales. Genie Cycles incorporates Hurst cycles theories, but utilizes only two nested Laguerre moving filters. Laguerre moving filters have significantly less lag than traditional moving averages. These moving filters take as there inputs the highest high and the lowest lows for the two adjustable periods. The point of the indicator is to determine when a short-term swing cycle harmonizes or aligns with a long-term cycle, i.e., determining when the tops and bottoms of these cycles align.
The resulting nested channels produce natural bounding boxes. This dramatically highlights likely support and resistance levels as they often occur at prior highs or lows that this indicator is drawing. Convergence of the different cycle lengths can indicate strong trends that make excellent trading opportunities. Decoupling of the cycles indicates the end of the trend.
Enhanced Widner Projection Bands - Mel Widner, Ph.D.Everybody has heard of Bollinger banding right? Well, if you are looking for those, you have come to the wrong place. This is something very similar though! These are "Enhanced Widner Projection Bands" in the overlay panel employing PSv4.0, originally devised by Mel Widner, Ph .D. for an article in TASC - July of 1995 Traders Tips. This indicator is freely available for all members to use.
Also, this is a companion indicator for my "Projection Oscillator"(displayed underneath) using modified code from that. The projection bands visually display how the wave forms are generated for the "Projection Oscillator" when the period controls are matched between both indicators. You will then see how the alignments are correlated between the projection bands and the projection oscillator. In this script however, the upper and lower banding is controlled independently, but can be controlled tandemly by enabling an override. I decided to incorporate some of my banding technology as well, offering color schemes, line thickness, and transparency controls. I also discovered a way to improve 1px line dithering using a simple technique. Overall, it's fairly easy to use, so I won't elaborate beyond what you have read already.

Projection Oscillator - Mel Widner, Ph.D.For any Mel Widner, Ph.D fans out there, I present this decades old "Projection Oscillator" employing PSv4.0, originally formulated by Mel Widner for TASC - July of 1995 Traders Tips. Just when you may have thought it was the end of the evolutionary line for Mel Widner technology, it's not! Basically it's a hybridization of linear regression, banding, and a stochastic rolled into one. It's purpose is intended to help identify reversal points.
While working on another member's project, I discovered other implementations on TV and a few scarcely found on the internet, they are not entirely correct and not in a package like this. I'm submitting this as a complimentary indicator for their trading system AND also for the TV community for hybridized indicator evolution. My implementation is a heavily modified version of the original indicator using novel techniques, surpassing Widner's original intended design.
Utilizing the "Power of Pine", I included the maximum amount of features I could surmise in an ultra small yet impressive package. Configurations are displayed above in multiple scenarios that should be suitable for most traders. Of notable mention, the original design was a range from 0-100 just like any other stochastic, but I rescaled the oscillator more towards a zero mean unity scale(+/-1.0), while still leaving the waveforms completely intact.
Features List Includes:
Dark Background - Easily disabled in indicator Settings->Style for "Light" charts or with Pine commenting
AND much, much more... you have the source!
For those of you who are new to Pine Script, this script also may help you understand advanced programming techniques in Pine and how they may be utilized in a most effective manner. I would like to see Tradingview become the go to platform for the best indicators attainable with this contribution to the TV community. This is commonly what my dense intricate code looks like behind the veil. If you are wondering why there is no notes, that's because the notation is in the variable naming. If you wish to contribute additional ideas, please do so below in the comments about all things Pine in regards to this indicator.
NOTICE: Copy pasting bandits who may be having nefarious thoughts, DO NOT attempt this, because this may violate Tradingview's terms, conditions and/or house rules regarding publishing and "fair" reuse of code. "WE" are always watching the TV community vigilantly for mischievous behaviors and actions that exploit well intended authors for the purpose of unscrupulously increasing brownie points in reputation scores. Hiding behind a "protected" wall may not protect you from investigation and account penalization by TV staff. Be respectful, and don't just throw a meaningless feature in there, then branding it as "your" gizmo if you reuse this code for publishing another indicator. Fair enough? Alrighty then... I firmly believe in "innovating" future state-of-the-art indicators, and please contact me if you wish to do so.

RSI Projection v1Application of concepts from Constance Brown "Technical Analysis for Trading Professionals", specifically: Chapter 7: Price Projections By Reverse Engineering Indicators , and Chapter 8: Price Objectives Derived From Positive and Negative Reversals In The RSI .
Specifically: I wanted to see if better Exit signals for the RSI could be generated from a basic application of some of the concepts in those chapters, and that is what I've found so far:
Exit when the RSI (purple) crosses below the orange line
Orange line is forecasted RSI for positive price reversals, blue line is forecasted RSI for negative price reversals
From what I can tell, this indicator does not work well during chop/consolidation and ranging periods, generating too many false signals without additional confluence from trending indicators and price analysis
This indicator should be considered highly experimental - do not use live trading without proper backtesting and parameter adjustment.
Tuning per asset and timeframe is required due to calculation type for highs/lows used for projection calculations
Projecting From StabilityStable periods that are projected can be found using Bollinger Band Percent Width Crossing RSI
The projected periods are paying most attention to the drop in % BBand width.
