ViVen - MTF RSI - Multi Timeframe RSIHi Traders,
This is very simple tool which plots 5m, 15m, 1H, 1D, 1W and 1M timeframe RSI lines into chart irrespective of Session you are in.
You can turn ON/OFF if any RSI is not needed, also you can customize the view as well.
Strategy:
Basically,
RSI value above 60 is BULLISH
RSI value below 40 is BEARISH
Combining all timeframes we can identify the possibility of Price movement.
For example,
If Monthly RSI, Weekly RSI and Daily RSI - Above 60 then if 15m or 1Hr RSI takes support at 40 / 60 levels we can look for Buying the Stock.
Happy Trading!!

All TimeFrame OscillatorsI have always fighted to understand the market direction because it looks different on different timeframes.
I wanted an indicator where I can see all the different timeframes at once.
This indicator shows already existing oscillators but not only in the current chart's timeframe, but all the most important higer timeframes at once.
I have started with the stoch, then added as many oscillators as I could.
Experimenting with this I have saw that confluence of 4H 1D and 1W Stoch can be very interesting and can highlight higher timeframe take profit areas and sometimes major tops/bottoms.
Also bounces can be interesting when a lower timeframe stoch is bounced or rejected from a higher one.
Oscillators:
Stoch - Stochastic Oscillator
SMI - Stochastic Momentum Index
Rsi - Relative Strength Index
StochRsi - Stochastic RSI
WaveTrend - Vumanchu alias Market Cypher Wave Trend line
CCI - Commodity Channel Index
CCIStoch - Stochastic CCI
Williams Percent Range - Williams %R
Norm. MACD - Normalized Moving Average Convergence Divergence
Norm. MACD Hist - Normalized MACD Histogramm
PVT - Normalized Price Volume Trend
MFI - Money Flow Index
CMF - Chaikin Money Flow
Chande Momentum - Chande Momentum
Volume - Normalized Volume
CandleValue - Vumanchu alias Market Cypher MoneyFlow
BBWP - Bollinger Band Width Percentile
Line Type
Smooth: lines are smoothed, but the actualy not closed values are not shown
Step: Step lines, the actually open timeframes are calculated as they closed at the current values
Plot Oscillator or it's Slope:
its possible to not plot the oscillator but it's slope
Print dots when:
Cross Up/Down oversold/overbougt level - best for most oscillators. for example when Stoch crosses above 20 or below 80
Cross os/ob and the one higher TF is about to cross - when it's crosses beolw 80 and the higher timeframe oscillator is still above ans sloping down
Cross above/below middle line - for example on RSI being above or below 50 can be interesting
Print triangles when:
All Slope Match - all visible timeframe lines are pointing up or down at the same time
All above/belove middle line - all visible lines are above or belove the middle line
All above/belove middle line and slope match - like the previous one and the slope direction is the same
All above/below oversold/overbougt - all lines are above or below os/ ob. this is the default. it can be a very important confluence
Lower TF in order - 5, 15, 30, 60 minute timeframes are in order.
Higher TF in order - 4H 1D 1W in order (like 4H above 1D abd 1D above 1W). can be interesting at RSI
4H-1D in order - 4H 1D in order .
Print triangles
Print all triangles - print all triangles when the condition is met
Print only first triangles - only show when the condition starts to met
Print only last triangles - small triangles when the condition met first, large when last. tis is the default.
Timeframes to show:
You can turn on/off different timeframs to show or not from the list below:
1m 5m 15m 30m 1H 4H D 5D W M
This is for experimenting/ understanding the market direction on multiple timeframes at once.
Don't take it's signals (and any other indicator's) as exact trade signals. use it as confirmation instead.
Any comments, insights, ideas are welcome.
RSI + rCalcThis is a modification of the TradingView RSI.
I have added HMA and ALMA options to the MA settings and also the option for a colour change on RSI cross.
A reverse calc has also been added. This will display the MA cross/Overbought/Oversold price predictions. There is also the option to display an entered RSI or Price for a prediction display.
All colours and modifications can be turned on/off.
Enjoy! :)
switches [experimental / tools]This scripts shows a tool which enables switching between settings without opening the settings
In this case you can switch between a RSI of 3 different tickers, 3 different higher timeframes, and 4 different lengths.
How does it work?
The position of a 'time line' is compared with the position of a box.
Changing the position of the line changes the settings.
The settings need to be set upfront though,
if you want to switch between length 7, 10, 14, 21 they need to be set first.
Example:
One wants to switch between RSI of SOLUSDT, ADAUSDT and FILUSDT
First set your tickers
-> Settings -> Set 1 -> Ticker
Then tap/click and move the line
And there you go!
The same with Timeframe and Length
Important:
It is not possible to automatically set the boxes/line at current time,
so these (settings -> date at Box, Line) need to be set in the beginning
Cheers!
TTP RSI drawdownThis indicator offers a way to trade the RSI drawdown combined together with its value.
Parameters
- Lookback. How many candles in the past are used to calculate the drawdown of the RSI
- RSI strength and timeframe
- Lower and Upper RSI limits. These are used to colour the drawdown chart, the greener the closed to your specified lower limit and the more red the closer to the upper limit. These limits are also used to confirm that the signal occurs with an RSI value within the given limits.
- Signal threshold. Buy signals will only be triggered when the drawdown of the RSI is higher than the provided value.
Buy signals
The signal will trigger in white color and will plot a 1 to allow backtesting.
TradingView alerts can be set for buy signals.
Buy signals will be trigger only when:
- RSI value is within the provided lower and upper limit values
- RSI drawdown is higher than the provided threshold.
Features
- Back-testable (plots 1 for buy)
- TV alerts
Chart modes
- show RSI
- show highest RSI
- show RSI drawdown
In the short time I've been playing with this new idea I noticed it can be used both for swing trading and for long term analysis like for example finding market bottoms.
Here's an example setup to find BTC past market cycle bottoms:
- load a chart with INDEX:BTCUSD
- set the chart timeframe to daily
- set the chart to logarithmic scale
- zoom out to see the full chart
- add the RSI drawdown indicator
- use the following parameters in the indicator: timeframe: week, gaps: off, show RSI drawdown: on, lookback:30, length:14, lower: 20, upper: 30: threshold: 40

RSI Potential Divergence - FontiramisuIndicator showing potential momentum divergences on RSI Momentum.
The problem with the classic divergence is that when the signal appears, it is sometimes too late to enter a trade.
The potential divergence corrects this problem by signaling the beginning of a potential divergence.
RSI is a momentum indicator that offers relevant insights with divergences.
Potential divergences are indicated with the letter B and a red color for Bearish Div or Green color for Bullish Div .
Potential divergence is confirmed when the line and the label "Bear"' or "Bull" appear.
Dragon Double RSI Overbought-Oversold With LabelThis indicator consist of tow RSI length that user can customize it. like length, overbought, oversold. like length, overbought, oversold. also it has one moving average where the user can select from different types of moving averages, price sources, lookback periods and resolutions
RSI Candles - Appa SoTradition RSI just shows the line as an indicator when the price candle is changed. So Indicator hasn't been able to offer open price RSI and close price at once. Rsi candles can make the user be able to see RSI open and close price is changed simultaneously with Candle form.

RSI PacingThe RSI Pacing indicator compares the movement of the RSI directly with the movement of the asset to help identify divergences.
Bullish Divergences
The RSI is increasing at a greater rate than the pace of the asset.
The RSI is decreasing at a lesser rate than the pace of the asset.
Bearish Divergences
The RSI is decreasing at a greater rate than the pace of the asset.
The RSI is increasing at a lesser rate than the pace of the asset.
Warning: Does not yet work on higher timeframes yet. Working on getting the pace normalized to the RSI's bounds.
SR Relative StrengthThis is a relative strength model for Indian Stock Markets where in the price of the stock in the current scenario is compared with the benchmark indices ( NIFTY / BANKNIFTY) over a period of 55 days ( by default).
This indicator also has RSI and Supertrend built-in by default. Hence this indicator can be used in place of 3 indicators.
How to use?
1. When the background is blue, it means that the stock is relatively strong as compared to the bench mark indices over a period of 55 days and the RSI is > 50
When both RS > 0 & RSI > 50 the background will be blue. If either or is true it won't turn blue.
2. Superternd by default setting is 10,3 which can be changed as per one's requirement.
Thanks!!

Self-Optimizing RSI Strategy [Kioseff Trading]Hello!
Introducing the Self-Optimizing RSI Strategy.
The indicator tests up to 800 RSI strategies simultaneously, looping through arrays, and auto plots the best performing parameter set.
The image above shows the result of 800 RSI strategies concurrently.
The table oriented bottom right shows the performance and risk metrics of the best performing RSI system tested across the bar set. Additionally, the conditions for entry and exit are displayed; for the image - a long entry system predicated on RSI crossunders and exit system predicated on a 1% TP and 2% SL are shown.
The indicator calculates numerous risk and performance metrics.
Calculated metrics include:
RSI Parameters
RSI Cross Entry Level
Total Trades
Win Rate
Avg. Gain for Winning Trades
Max Pain
PnL (Cumulative Performance)
Profit Factor
Avg. Loss for Losing Trades
Ratio Avg. Win / Avg. Loss
Avg. Bars in Trade
Max Drawdown
Current Drawdown
Open Position PnL
"Dynamic" indicates the performance of self-optimizing RSI system was tested.
The image above shows the performance of the greatest-performing RSI system - a fixed set of parameters - when adhering to a 1% TP and 2% fixed SL.
Trailing Stops and Profit-Taking Limit orders can be set/simulated.
The image above shows a dynamic entry level - plotted as a purple, non-transparent line.
The entry level "self-optimizes" to mimic the best performing RSI system at current time.
The image above exemplifies the functionality for all horizontal lines plotted on the chart.
The average RSI level achieved subsequent a profitable trade is shown.
The average RSI level achieved subsequent a losing trade is shown.
The entry level for RSI crossunders/crossovers is shown.
The image above show the Self-Optimizing RSI indicator recording entries & exits; gains & losses, for each executed trade.
You can "verify" trades manually.
Blue boxes reflect an entered position.
Green boxes reflect a closed, profitable trade.
Red boxes reflect a close, losing trade.
The percentage gain for a profitable trade is appended to green boxes; the percentage loss for a losing trade is appended to red boxes.
The Self-Optimizing RSI indicator plots off the chart; however, percentage gains/losses are measured against price, not RSI.
Boxes correlate to the interval a trade was entered/exited on.
The indicator hosts various methods to filter the outcome for testing.
For instance, you can:
Use trailing stops or fixed stop losses
Test RSI crossunders and crossovers
Configure the RSI settings that are tested (i.e. RSI 2 - 9, RSI 14 - 20, RSI 50 - 57)
Test short-based RSI Systems and long-based RSI systems
Simulate limit orders (Exit intrabar at fixed stop losses or trailing stop losses; exit intrabar at profit targets)
Require all tested RSIs to trend above or below their respective average (i.e. all RSIs must trend above/below their 50-interval EMA values. SMAs can also be used)
Use external indicators and require a user-defined value be exceeded, measured below, or that price exceed or measure below an indicator. The Self-Optimizing RSI indicator incorporates a few built-in technical indicators - ADX, %k, MFI, CMFI, and RSI. Consequently, you can require these indicators to measure above/below a specified level prior to entry. Additionally, you can supplement an extrinsic indicator (anything custom coded with plot values) to the entry logic for the Self-Optimizing RSI indicator. I'll show an example shortly.
Adjust the time window that's tested.
Adjust PT and SL percentages.
Override plot an RSI system to procure thorough statistics.
Require a symbol to measure above/Below or equal to a particular price level to “validate” a Long/Short entry signal. You can retrieve any data hosted by TradingView and require it measure above/below a user-defined level prior to entry. For instance, you can select "$VIX", and require the ticker to measure less than $30 prior to long/short entry. If "$VIX" measures greater than $30 prior to a long/short signal the position will not open. Alternatively, you can require a symbol to measure above a user-defined price prior to entry. If the retrieved ticker doesn't measure above the user-defined level prior to entry a trade will not open.
Use trailing stops or fixed stop losses
The image above shows results for 800 short-based RSI systems - using a trailing stop loss.
Test RSI crossunders and crossovers
The image shows results for 800 long-based RSI systems. Positions are entered subsequent to RSI crossovers.
You can select which RSI strategies are tested - you aren't not limited to testing RSI 2 - RSI 9 (:
Simulate limit orders (Exit intrabar at fixed stop losses or trailing stop losses; exit intrabar at profit targets)
The image above shows performance test results when exiting during the interval subsequent to the profit target being exceeded.
The image above shows performance test results when exiting during the interval subsequent to the stop loss being exceeded.
Require all tested RSIs to trend above or below their respective average (i.e. all RSIs must trend above/below their 50-interval EMA values. SMAs can also be used)
The image above shows an RSI EMA in addition to prerequisite condition. For each RSI strategy tested, the RSI used for the strategy must measure above an EMA of its values prior to entry. You can require RSI to measure below an EMA of its values prior to entry, use an SMA, and change the length of the MA used.
The image above shows me requiring the ADX indicator to measure above "20" prior to long entry. Any of the built-indicators can be used with similar conditions; you can implement a custom-coded indicator for trade logic.
Additionally, you can supplement an extrinsic indicator (anything custom coded with plot values) to the entry logic for the Self-Optimizing RSI indicator.
The image above shows me retrieving the value for Volume Profile Point of Control - a TradingView coded indicator.
Consequently, I can require price to measure above/below the session's Poc prior to RSI long/short entry.
You can use this feature with any custom coded indicator providing historical plot values - something you or a favored author have coded.
]Adjust PT and SL percentages
The image above shows adjusted TP & SL percentages - optimize and reward/risk ratio you'd like (:
Override plot an RSI system to procure thorough statistics.
The image above shows manually plotted RSI parameters and a corresponding stat sheet.
The image above shows me requiring the ticker "$VIX" to measure below $30 prior to long/short entry. If %VIS measures greater than $30 when a long/short signal triggers a position will not be opened. Further refine your trading system with this feature - exploit correlations.
Adjust the time window that's tested.
The image above shows configurable start and end dates for the optimization period.
You won't be able to test 800 RSI strategies concomitantly on a 20,000 bar data set.
Consequently, for large data sets (intrasession data) you will have to narrow the optimization window to test a larger number of combinations.
You can test 80 (loads on all data sets), 144 (loads on all data sets), 264 (loads on ~15,000 bar data sets), 312 (loads on ~11,500 bar data sets) and 800 (loads on ~4950 bar data sets)combinations simultaneously. You can test 800 RSI strategies simultaneously on intrasession data; however, you'll likely have to narrow the tested time window.
I recently published a bar count script titled "Bar Count for Backtesting", you can access the script here:
The above script is useful for quickly calculating the number of bars in a time window, or the date for a bar that is "x" number of bars back. Therefore, implementing these scripts cooperatively should improve date selection efficiency (not arbitrarily selecting test start & end dates that fail to load).
I included a tool tip describing the near-maximum bars in a data set that the higher numbers of simultaneous RSI strategies can be tested on.
More to come; enjoy!
(P.S. The script uses private libraries and, consequently, is unable to be published open source)
An optimization script is best implemented to discover what won't work, not what will work. The best performing "optimized" parameters are not a guaranteed profitable investment system. While we may see an exceptionally positive performance for a set of parameters, it's impossible to know how much of that performance is the beneficiary of market noise in the absence of additional testing. Most market moves are noise - irreplicable sequences that offer no predictive utility - and most "good" backtests overwhelmingly benefit from these irreplicable sequences. An investor unfamiliar with this concept may be lead to believe they have found a valid correlation between an indicator sequence and subsequent price movement, despite the correlation being illusory.
Consequently, it should be assumed that the best performing parameters strongly benefitted from market noise and will not work in a live market - until further rigorous statistical tests are performed on an investment system built around the best performing parameters. This includes out-of-sample, in-sample, and forward testing in addition to testing negatively correlated, positively correlated and zero-correlation assets; testing additional assets should be treated as prerequisite to live implementation.
Of course, all trading strategies, even one's that methodically exploit a valid correlation/replicable sequence, will benefit from market noise - it's impossible to avoid. However, a "legit" trading strategy has a chance to work on future price data, while an overoptimized strategy will fail miserably on new price data!
An overoptimized strategy is virtually guaranteed to have a better backtest performance than a valid strategy. The overoptimized strategy will fail in a live market while the valid strategy has a chance of working. So, should you notice the best performing RSI parameters, be sure to build a comprehensive trading system around the parameters and perform additional tests. This is the only way to know if the optimized parameters will truly work in a live market!
Unfortunately, they often will not!

WSTF RSI2 IndicatorThis is the Indicator replicating the basic RSI(2) created by Wilders.
Buy condition:
(RSI(2) crossed under 10) & (close > EMA(200)) & (EMA(5) > close)
Sell condition:
(RSI(2) crossed over 90) & (close < EMA(200)) & (EMA(5) < close)
You can play around with the script by adjusting the RSI Values, EMA values and crossover & crossunder threshold.
We will update the script with new features in the futures.
Please don't hesitate to share some Ideas or Feedbacks, we would be happy to improve the script for you !
Have fun !

OMA (One More Average) RSI Histogram [Loxx]OMA (One More Average) RSI Histogram is an RSI histogram built using the OMA adaptive moving average. This is meant to filter out the noise from regular RSI. You'll notice that it rarely signals, but the signals that do show up are perfectly set up for mean reversion/trend ATR-based trading.
What is the One More Moving Average (OMA)?
The usual story goes something like this : which is the best moving average? Everyone that ever started to do any kind of technical analysis was pulled into this "game". Comparing, testing, looking for new ones, testing ...
The idea of this one is simple: it should not be itself, but it should be a kind of a chameleon - it should "imitate" as much other moving averages as it can. So the need for zillion different moving averages would diminish. And it should have some extra, of course:
How to use

Red means sell

Volatility Ratio Adaptive RSX [Loxx]Volatility Ratio Adaptive RSX this indicator adds volatility ratio adapting and speed value to RSX in order to make it more responsive to market condition changes at the times of high volatility, and to make it smoother in the times of low volatility
What is RSX?
RSI is a very popular technical indicator, because it takes into consideration market speed, direction and trend uniformity. However, the its widely criticized drawback is its noisy (jittery) appearance. The Jurik RSX retains all the useful features of RSI, but with one important exception: the noise is gone with no added lag.

JG RSI/MFI/divergence IndicatorThis is a combination of
- RSI (relative strength index)
- MFI (money flow index)
- Divergences on the RSI
MFI behaves much the same as RSI but it more responsive/to some degree a leading indicator. I find it helps having this overlayed with RSI to help gauge price action and sentiment, as well as for confluence with RSI.
Phase-Accumulation Adaptive RSX w/ Expanded Source Types [Loxx]Phase-Accumulation Adaptive RSX w/ Expanded Source Types is a Phase Accumulation Adaptive Jurik RSX.
What is RSX?
RSI is a very popular technical indicator, because it takes into consideration market speed, direction and trend uniformity. The Jurk RSX retains all the useful features of RSI , but with one important exception: the noise is gone with no added lag.
What is Phase Accumulation?
The phase accumulation method of computing the dominant cycle is perhaps the easiest to comprehend. In this technique, we measure the phase at each sample by taking the arctangent of the ratio of the quadrature component to the in-phase component. A delta phase is generated by taking the difference of the phase between successive samples. At each sample we can then look backwards, adding up the delta phases. When the sum of the delta phases reaches 360 degrees, we must have passed through one full cycle, on average. The process is repeated for each new sample.
The phase accumulation method of cycle measurement always uses one full cycle’s worth of historical data. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is the lag in obtaining the answer scales directly with the cycle period. That is, the measurement of a short cycle period has less lag than the measurement of a longer cycle period. However, the number of samples used in making the measurement means the averaging period is variable with cycle period. longer averaging reduces the noise level compared to the signal. Therefore, shorter cycle periods necessarily have a higher out- put signal-to-noise ratio.
