According to the RBICS classification, the Miscellaneous category includes sectors and companies that do not fit into the other main categories. This category comprises companies that currently have no line of business and are seeking new opportunities or have filed for bankruptcy and are looking to re-emerge with a new business line. Additionally, investment trusts and mutual funds, which operate as legal entities to pool securities and assets for shareholders, are also classified under the Miscellaneous category.
