Das daily 24h Handelsvolumen für BTC fällt kontinuierlich unter Schwankungen ab. Mit 4,24 Mrd. USD total Trading Volume wurde heute einer der niedrigsten Werte seit zumindest 12 Monaten markiert. Niedrige Umsätze können, wie zuletzt immer wieder beobachtet, zu schnellen, unerwarteten Ausschlägen in beide Richtungen führen. Den Rettungsteams gibt dies Gelegenheit, über das Wochenende BTC nach oben zu pflegen. Schlägt dies fehl, ist das nächste Kursziel 7,2k.

Bzgl. Volumen btc: auf gdax haben wir aktuell gerade mal 4276 btc pro 24 std im btc/usd trading. Das ist brutal wenig im vergleich zu den letzten monaten. In der trading historie gibt es teilweise gerade mal eine hand voll trades pro minute.

BTC @ 7.634 - Spike fällt anscheinend wirklich aus. Kein Gutes Vorzeichen für das Wochenende - und verwundert nicht wirklich. Letztes Wochenende wurden hodler und trader in BTC gelockt. Ein zweites mal will niemand am Montag das verlieren, was über das Wochenende allenfalls gewonnen wurde.

WSJ: CME and BTC Exchange Dispute Led US Regulators to Open Price Manipulation Probe

Regulators from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reportedly demanded extensive trading data from several cryptocurrency exchanges, people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal June 8. Regulators requested data in order to investigate whether manipulation might be compromising prices in digital currency markets.
The probe followed the launch of Bitcoin (BTC) futures by CME Group (NASDAQ:CME) in December last year. CME forms its Bitcoin (BTC) futures prices based on data from four crypto exchanges; Bitstamp, Coinbase, itBit and Kraken, where manipulative trading could reportedly have distorted the value of BTC futures. Investigators are going after trading schemes that can be used to manipulate the price of BTC futures that the government directly regulates.

And, if all that wasn’t enough, recent research by Morgan Stanley found anemic e-commerce merchant adoption of BTC in the last year.

"Wochenend-Pump" endete in der Regel ab Sonntag nachmittag/abend. Anschliessend fielen die Kurse. Bislang fällt der Wochenend Pump aus. Kein gutes Vorzeichen für den Montag.
